Dukes on Saturday 28th March

Hi Everyone,

This is just to let everyone know that our Dukes of Uke class is ON this Saturday.
You have the choice to attend in person at the studio, or join our Zoom Meeting at 10:30am on your screen from the comfort of your own home. We have now run two group sessions already on Zoom, and proved they work well. Although you won’t be able to hear everyone, you will hear and see me as I lead the session and display the uke charts on your screen in the usual way. You can enter requests in the chat window, and I will pause between songs for comments etc.

In the studio, we will be observing strict social distancing, and the studio is disinfected prior to the session.

Online, just purchase your ticket at Trybooking (go to  https://www.trybooking.com/BJHDK and click on [Book Now]) then join the meeting using the meeting ID and link we will provide. Please register your interest in attending via Zoom so we can send you the links to get you connected.
To get your computer or mobile device set up with Zoom (a free app) you can download:

On Windows:                    https://zoom.us/client/latest/ZoomInstaller.exe
On Mac:                               https://zoom.us/client/latest/zoomusInstaller.pkg

For iOS (iPad) and Android (Galaxy Note etc) : download Zoom Cloud Meetings from the App store.

Covid-19 Update and Online Classes

As a result of the Corona Virus pandemic and subsequent restrictions on gatherings, we have decided to restrict our Thursday classes to a maximum of 20 people, socially distanced in the studio, however we will also be transmitting the classes online via the Zoom app. You will need to register for a free Zoom account and download the Zoom app for your device in order to get the best audio and video streaming. Just go to the zoom.us website. We recommend running Zoom on a PC or Mac, but you can also use an iPad or Smartphone.
Anyone can join the online class by purchasing an e-ticket to the event on the trybooking.com website. Here is the link: https://www.trybooking.com/BJGQB

There is a cover charge of $7 and this includes afternoon tea – so bring a plate to share. Please wear your Dukes polo shirt if you are performing. I will distribute more info at the next few classes.
